Outreach Ministries at Hyles-Anderson College
Hyles-Anderson College students have the opportunity to be involved in one of the most exciting and dynamic churches in history—the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. Students are not only taught the methods, programs, and philosophies behind the ministry of the First Baptist Church, but they are also encouraged to become faithful workers in one of the ministries of the church.
Of course, every student at Hyles-Anderson College is required to go soul winning on a weekly basis. Above and beyond their regular soul winning, students may join ministries such as: the bus ministry, the sailor ministry, the inner-city chapel ministry, the Spanish ministry, the street preaching ministry, the truck stop ministry, the jail ministry, the rest home ministry, the educable slow minsitry, the Asian ministry, and the Phoster Club (a ladies' soul-winning group). Hyles-Anderson College students find great satisfaction when they spend their lives in service to fulfill the Great Commission and to help others.
